The Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphin is more slender than the common bottlenose, with a longer, narrower beak, black spots or flecks on the belly of adults, and 23 to 29 teeth on each side of each jaw against 21 to 24 (Reeves et al. 2002, as reported on Wikipedia). It reaches 2.6 m and up to 230 kg (Shirihai and Jarrett 2006, as reported on Wikipedia). Groups are usually five to 15, occasionally hundreds, and it eats a wide range of fish and squid (Reeves et al. 2002; Amir et al. 2005, as reported on Wikipedia).
