The great frigatebird is a huge, long-winged seabird with a deeply forked tail and hooked bill. Males are black with a red inflatable throat pouch; females have white breasts. It soars over tropical Indian and Pacific seas, snatching fish and squid from the surface or harrying other seabirds until they drop food, and nests colonially on remote islands (Wikipedia, general species account). It is Nationally Least Concern (Thailand Red Data 2025).
