Fea's tube-nosed bat, also called the ashy tube-nosed bat, is a small Murina with tubular nostrils, soft grey-brown fur and broad wings. Modern revisions separate it from other bats formerly grouped under M. tubinaris, making verified skull and dental characters essential (Mammal Diversity Database; IUCN species assessment).

It occurs in southern China and mainland Southeast Asia, including Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. It is a forest bat that hunts arthropods in cluttered vegetation, but roost choice, breeding and population trends remain poorly known. Claims from the former broad species complex are not transferred without confirmation (IUCN species assessment). It is Nationally Least Concern (Thailand Red Data 2025).
