Fejervarya limnocharis, the Asian grass frog, is also known as Boie's wart frog or the rice field frog. It is found in South-east Asia and parts of Indochina, and molecular studies suggest the name covers a complex of several species. Its snout-vent length is 39–43 mm. The snout is pointed and projects beyond the mouth. Males have a loose throat region with a brown or blackish W-shaped mark, stronger forelimbs, and pad-like tubercles under the first finger (Wikipedia, general species account).
